Cookie Factory commissioned a documentary film following visual artist Sam Falls at work in the Rocky Mountains as he created a new body of work rooted in the surrounding landscape. Filmed on location, the film offers an intimate glimpse into Sam’s unique process—where natural elements like sunlight, plants, and weather directly influence the creation of his paintings.

To preserve the quiet focus and authenticity of Sam’s creative process, I recorded the film solo, ensuring that a larger crew would not disrupt his connection to the environment or his artistic flow.
