Gallery 1261 asked us to create a documentary style video about painter Daniel Sprick to engage longtime collectors as well as new clients. Instead of a formal interview this client wanted to utilize a more natural conversation with the artist while he worked in order to create a video that aligned with Daniel’s artistic process. Conor recorded the conversation using a lavalier microphone and documented Daniel in his studio over the course of two days. Through editing, a cohesive narrative was created for the video.
